I have a nursing background and transitioned to various manager roles in health and in the NGO sector. I have spent the last 4.5 years as an operations manager for Bupa, looking after several aged care facilities in the upper north island
Originally from the south, I’ve spent many years living and working in Auckland, returning annually to Wanaka for the summer. Last year my husband and I moved to Wanaka permanently, and are loving all that the area has to offer.

At Elmslie House, residents receive excellent care from our experienced and compassionate team in a bright, home-like setting. Our clinical and care staff are supported by an activities coordinator, a visiting physiotherapist and podiatrist, as well as dedicated volunteers who help create a vibrant daily life.
The beautiful garden surrounds are a highlight for visitors, offering plenty of space to relax in, or enjoy a peaceful stroll. We have an open door policy where visitors are always welcome and play an important part in our friendly community.

Premium room charges
Premium room charges apply to rooms with enhanced features, a private ensuite, a more spacious room or a desirable location within the facility. These charges cover the extra comfort provided, and are separate from the basic care and accommodation fees, which are typically covered by the government subsidy or the resident’s funding.
