Welcome Wanaka to the Alden family

We are excited to share that Alden has acquired Elmslie House and Wanaka Retirement Village. This acquisition in Central Otago strengthens our ability to deliver on our brand promise that everyone deserves compassionate, trusted, and respectful care as they age, no matter their means or background.

Dr Elmslie, for whom this home was named after, was a prominent medical figure who served the Wanaka district exactly 100 years ago not only as a physician but also through involvement in local initiatives with the Presbyterian Church. It is an honour for Alden to be continuing his legacy of providing exceptional care, and we thank Presbyterian Support Otago for this opportunity. 

We look forward to welcoming current and future residents, their families, and staff into the Alden community, building meaningful connections and supporting local needs. Alden is committed to being here for you — today and into the future.
